Belgian beers are playing starring roles in many more countries than just in Belgium. Guess what: also on Aruba! Served in their own, specific glasses, their tastes are differing greatly. Drinking a glass of beer can therefore take on a totally new dimension. Their names? Hoegaerden, Duvel, Westmalle, Leffe, Trappist, Kriek, De Koninck, Corsendonck, Stella Artois, Kasteelbier, Kwak and Bellevue Gueze. Ever tried them? You should; they’re wonderful.

Priscilla Weeda is supervisor at Taste of Belgium Restaurant. She is originally from the royal city of the Netherlands, The Hague and has studied there hospitality management.

As part of her education Priscilla did her traineeship at the Amsterdam Manor hotel in Aruba in 2007 and immediately fell in love with the island.

After returning to Holland to finish her education, she missed Aruba and its people and visitors and decided to return after graduation.
